Fall TV Show Watchlist
Ok. Flood already over (but I’m still waiting for V). I watched around 30 pilot/premiere this fall, still keep 14 of them. I already put my TV Show watchlist in my collection. I just want to post some addition.
Here the list:
Sunday
09:00 PM – Dexter (Showtime)
10:30 PM - Entourage (HBO) [season finale yesterday]
Monday
08:00 PM - How I Met Your Mother (CBS) - House (FOX)
09:30 PM - The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
Tuesday
10:00 PM - The Good Wife (CBS)
Wednesday
08:00 PM - Hank (ABC)
08:30 PM - The Middle (ABC)
09:00 PM – Modern Family (ABC)
09:30 PM - Cougar Town (ABC)
Thursday
08:00 PM - FlashForward (ABC) – The Vampire Diaries (CW)
10:00 PM - The Mentalist (CBS)
Friday
09:00 PM – Stargate Universe (Syfy)
Italicized: I will watch several episode to come. Pilot is average. Will see.
Best returning Drama TV Show: House (but the rehab is too fast. I was hoping it’s more than 2 episode).
Best returning Comedy TV Show: How I Met Your Mother (little better than big bang)
Best new Drama TV Show: FlashForward (just hoping it won’t become something like Lost, too many question with no answer)
Best new Comedy TV Show: this is difficult, ABC comedy pilot from wednesday is good (excluding old school Hank), hmm… I will say The Middle.
I officially dump Heroes, Gossip Girl, Smallville (just like Verdict from Subscene), and Psych. I didn’t watch Fringe nor Grey’s. One show from Syfy, Stargate Universe. I remember SG-1 was aired when I was in high school. Many people say the new one not as good as SG-1, I don’t know, my parent always angry if I stay too long in front of TV then. I agree the story kinda bland and confusing if you watch it for the first time.
And until now I still curious how can 30 Rocks and Mad Men won Emmy…. again! What can I say, Dr. Horrible hijacks the Emmys, we can’t hear accountants from Ernst and Young explain the process. But I agree with Miniseries result, Little Dorrit is good. Don’t know about variety and reality, not for me.
In the end, keep watching, slacker! A quote from Mercy for you: if you need to blame somebody, blame the terrorist.
Fall TV Start Flooding In
School has been started about three weeks now, not do much and get much since then, maybe focus will be sharpened after Eid ul-Fitr holiday, which is two more idle weeks. Beyond that suck crap boring story, new euphoria has started as fall season is coming, along with many awesome TV show, not only returning TV shows, but also many new TV shows.
Here’s list of returning TV shows that I’ve been waiting for:

‘Heroes’ (NBC) – Premieres: Monday, Sept. 21
‘House’ (FOX) – Premieres: Monday, Sept. 21
‘How I Met Your Mother’ (CBS) – Premieres: Monday, Sept. 21
‘The Mentalist’ (CBS) – Premieres: Thursday, Sept. 24
Here’s additional returning list, this shows get boring (especially Smallville, when will it end?), but there’s still a chance I will watch this:

‘The Vampire Diaries’ (The CW) – Premieres Sept. 10, 8 PM
And maybe some more. Check out this 23 new TV shows at Zap2it.
Some info for these TV shows:
- Melrose Place. Pilot was just aired last night. A reboot of the 1990s series set in a apartment complex that revolves around the lives of its residents. I think there’s nothing special about this, just some Hollywood glamour and affair. I don’t like this genre. But it got nice soundtrack. Some of them: Bright Eyes - First Day Of My Life, Charlotte Sometimes – How I Could Just Kill A Man, and The Killers – The World We Live In
- Glee. Drama musical. An optimistic high school teacher helps underdogs achieve their star potential. It’s look like many people are waiting for this. I already watch the pilot like long time ago. They’re just weird. The only good thing about this show is they can sing.
- Mercy, Three Rivers, Trauma; again, more medical series.
- Sons of Anarchy, season 2 just aired last night, I have plan to watch this tonight (maybe I will update later).
Here we are, welcome to fall TV season 2009. New season, new show and these list at IMDB, will grow too. It’s 83 now, 83 TV shows I’ve ever watched, not watching all season, some just the pilot and dump it forever.
Happy watching!
More Medical Series This Season
It’s summer now, new beginning for TV series. Some series has ended, completed, even canceled. And here comes the new one.
I’ve watched some (or many?) of them, commence with harper’s island and the unusual, which started early, and I’ve followed them till episodes 9. The good one is Harper I think, and it’s only 13 episodes, I already dump the others like cupid (but still download the new one this afternoon), and have a plan to dump unusual.
Other series premiere: Mental, Nurse Jackie, Hawthorne, Royal Pains, Personal Affairs, even stupid/funny one like Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire or the real stupid/not important like Jesse James Is a Dead Man.
I don’t have a plan to watch new season of old series, and get the series from the first season, like True Blood or Weeds. But I’m still waiting for Leverage and may be Psych.
Now, may be you notice that four out of five series premier I mentioned above are medical series, first one about psychologist, then nurse, nurse, and doctor. So far, the best one is Hawthorne, and may be I will follow this series. It have nice soundtrack too, Alicia Keys – Lesson Learned (feat. John Mayer) in the first episode.
A lot of may be. I have to study. But it’s summer holiday. Happy watching!
ps: I think I already watch too much trilogy movie, star wars, matrix, rush hour, etc, etc, damn!

RIP: Michael Scofield (2005-2009)

Picture: Dr. Sara Tancredi, Lincoln Burrows, Fernando Sucre, Alexander Mahone, and Michael junior in the cemetery where Michael is buried.
And here is the ending song lyrics, to accompany his going, Lay it Down Slow by Spiritualized:
‘if you got dreams in your heart
why don’t you share them with me?
and if dreams don’t come true
i’ll make sure that you’re nightmares
are through
if you got pain in your heart
why don’t you share it with me?
and we’ll just wait and see
if it’s half what it used to be
if you’ve got love in your heart
why don’t you keep it with mine?
i can’t promise a miracle
but i’ll always be trying
and lay it down slow
lay it down free
lay it down easy
but lay it on me’
Good bye Michael! Happy to Know You!
“Be the change you want to see in the world”

Newton’s laws of motion are three physical laws that form the basis for classical mechanics, directly relating the forces acting on a body to themotion of the body. Third law:

Is it correct? … Of course!
